“…most of the universe is invisible.”
“To quote from Gandhi, ‘you must be the change you wish to see in the world’.”
“There is a constant flow of information at the quantum level between everything, including organisms and their environment, consciousness and energy, and so forth.”
“Scientists at the cutting edge believe that when we are alive in our bodies our consciousness is present everywhere in the body at once, not just in the head, and that we naturally extend beyond our bodies with this non-local mind ability.”
“It was Albert Einstein who once commented that ‘our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of Nature in its beauty’. The prison he was referring to was the delusion of a separate consciousness. He believed that ‘reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one’.”
“The Buddha said, ‘This life of separateness may be compared to a dream, a phantasm, a bubble, a shadow, a drop of dew, a flash of lightning’.
“…we have gone on to build our world based on an erroneous and constricted viewpoint."
“…we are part of Nature, not separate from it – any separation is an illusion.”
“Studies contributing to what seems to be a new, emerging worldview have shown that our old subject-object split is no longer the entire story. There now seems to be no objective reality.”
"True wealth is abundance that does not cause scarcity.”
“To move away from being preoccupied with trade to being preoccupied with morals would be a good thing.”
“Fear knocked at the door. Faith answered. There was no one there.”
“Separateness is illusionary: me and you; us and them. The concept of ‘other’ looms large, and something or someone deemed ‘other’ often doesn’t seem to matter to us. That can be harmful. And dangerous.”
“…the current business-as-usual scenario involves tyranny against the natural world.”
“The power seems to be held by a small group of very wealthy people. And they will do almost anything to keep holding on to their power and control.”
“Do we, as human animals, have any more right to be here than any other species?”
“Our survival utterly depends on an extraordinary living web of planetary life.”
“…we have gone on to build our world based on an erroneous and constricted viewpoint.”
“...Mother Nature is not mechanistic, random and without order, but is inherently intelligent and purposeful.”
“Let’s think for ourselves about how we want this world to be. Let’s reinvent ourselves and our society in our grandest vision of who we really are! Let’s start redesigning.”
“…by making some big changes to how we think and how we live and how we view the universe – based on this new frontier science – not only would we help ourselves transform our lives, but we would also enable the planet to survive…”
“…a complex interplay between free will and destiny it results in there being a time for everything, and that nothing is random or without meaning.”
“…our so-called empty space is a cauldron of seething energies.”
“We need to incorporate consciousness into science.”
“…one’s freedom is the most valuable thing, far more valuable than any pearls or diamonds or glittery riches. Without freedom, any person is a pauper.”
“…some old ways are worth keeping, and are just sensible.”
“…it is now time for us as a global society to move forward – and to admit that we’ve got some things wrong and that we need to look with some urgency at what serves our highest needs – and what doesn’t.”
“The materialist storybook, based on separateness, that we have adopted for the past few hundred years can at last be brought to its knees, as we begin to integrate all fields of knowledge together into a single unified paradigm. This would result in a new, holistic worldview. And this new worldview would avoid or at least mitigate a world-systems catastrophe, which seems to be where we’re heading right now. This new worldview generously provides us with a better understanding of who we are and where we are going.”
“We all have a choice, and we all are powerful co-creators of the world.”
“The laws of attraction mean that we attract similar things to what we are projecting and being, such as gratitude: if you actively express gratitude, you will attract more and more reasons to feel grateful.”
“It’s crucially important to be understanding and accepting of others. If we are all God’s creatures then we must respect one another, for God would not have allowed there to be these differences if they were not meant to be. I believe the differences serve to help us, ultimately.”
“I do not…regard the pursuit of power and national interests as sufficient justification to wage war.”
“I believe that no one should ever use violence to solve a problem. The terrorists are in the wrong. Violence is the last resort of the helpless and incompetent. But there is always a reason behind people’s anger – it doesn’t usually come about naturally for no reason.”
“A lie does not become the truth when wrapped in a national flag.”
“The Bible has been changed over the years and from what I can gather now only partially resembles the original texts. The views of men – and I mean men – have been added over the years; things to keep control over the people – and to stop women getting out of their place. Also justification for wars. What loving and tolerant god wants his people to go off and kill other god-worshipping people? How is that loving and tolerant? How is that looking after your flock? The words of more sacred texts than just the Bible have had their meanings altered and misinterpreted.”
“I think this world has a long tradition of using sacred books to peddle various messages. Wars committed in the name of God or whoever are a blasphemy. A blasphemy is saying that God made me do this, or God wants that family in that house over there to die, or God does not want those people in that country to have control over their own lives.”
“To stop destruction and wars and save this world it requires us to stop believing in the gods of yesterday…and instil respect for all life. That would mean changing our ideas to reflect reality and the love that I believe is permanently all around us. Get rid of the old violent, vengeful God of the past – who never even existed. God is not someone to fear. May I be so bold as to say religion doesn’t seem to have worked? Its shortcomings are being revealed more and more. It’s time for a change – big changes, and I think they’re starting to happen. I hope so, anyway. But in the meantime it seems to be the case that we are rather spiritually poor, while being materially overdeveloped. It’s all money and technology and things. Should we approve and admire every new science and technology, no matter what? Let’s question how much faith we should put in these things before, not after, they are released into the world. And whether they are needed at all. I think we now know a lot but we understand very little, if that makes any sense. But going back to religious and spiritual matters – I wandered off the path a bit – my grandmother, bless her soul, used to tell me to count my blessings every day, and I think that would be helpful advice to anybody. I think there’s some sort of law of attraction that then brings more for you to be grateful for, so it’s an ever increasing thing. I’m still learning. I hope when I’m old I’ll be as wise as she was. It’s hard to explain all this in an interview. And I know it’s sometimes easier to say these things than to do them, and no one can be perfectly angelic all the time, but the thing is to try to be true to who you really are. True to what is in your heart. So simple, but not always easy.”
“I have some big questions for you. Could it be possible that there are things that exist that we cannot perceive using our five senses or the mechanical apparatuses we have created to supplement them? Could it be possible that the universe is more than just objects moving about according to the classical laws of cause and effect? Could it be possible that what we call space is not empty and passive after all? Could so-called thin air actually be a place of busy activity?”
“Think of the vacuum we call space. It seems empty, just nothing. But it has been found that this vacuum we call empty space is anything but empty. It is an established fact that the vacuum is actually a sea, composed of waves which spread out through the universe. These waves are like the ripples on a pond. Scientists refer to this field of wave energy in various terms, such as the Zero-Point Field, or just the Field. Whatever you want to call it, it is space…and time. In fact, it seems to be everything. It comprises supercharged energy, sometimes known as Zero-Point Energy or vacuum energy. It is thought that everything taps into this supercharged field to get energy. This means that a proton, that most elemental part of an atom, refuels by tapping into the Zero-Point Field, this so-called empty space; therefore the Field accounts for the stability of atoms and, therefore, all matter.”
“Now, these particles – these protons, electrons, etc – are not solid objects. You’ve probably heard that before – that nothing is truly solid. At the subatomic level things are not solid but are vibrating, indeterminate packets of energy that cannot easily be quantified or measured. At its core, everything consists of pure energy. We are all made up of energy that vibrates so fast we appear as solid matter.”
“You’ve perhaps already heard about this: the effect of an observer makes a difference to subatomic energy. That’s what makes it take form. It has been found that when a wave of energy receives attention – such as by someone observing or measuring it – it forms a particle, or matter. In other words, it then ‘freezes’ into a particular state. After we have finished looking or measuring, the particle returns back into the ether-like background of all possibilities. No entity exists in a permanent, stable form. The punch-line of the observer effect is that the thoughts or beliefs of the scientist doing the observing shape the outcome! It seems to go against what we think should happen, doesn’t it?”
“A French physicist using particles proved that an event at one location can affect an event at another location without any apparent mechanism for communication between the two locations. Communication was immediate, as if space and time did not exist. So, our old physics theory that nothing can travel faster than the speed of light wasn’t quite right. It would seem that energy doesn’t need to travel – it is already one with all other energy – interconnected. Now, that has to sound strange to anyone who hasn’t heard this before, huh? Albert Einstein, decades earlier, knew about this and had called it ‘spooky action at a distance’.”
“…all matter and life in the universe is literally connected. And, what’s more, we are connected to the farthest reaches of the universe through this fluctuating field of waves. Everything is one; you cannot chop it up into pieces or segments and think that by looking at just a little bit that you are understanding the whole.”
“As we did not until relatively recently realise that there exists this complex sea of energy in the air already – the Zero-Point Field – we did not know that this vast structure of energy exchange exists not just in the air but in and around every object in the universe, binding everything together, all planets, all stars and all the spaces between them.”
“Scientists have been able to change the acid balance in containers of water through human intention, and have been able to change the physical structure and inherent quality of water through directing specific emotional and environmental ‘signals’ to it.”
“…the Zero-Point Field carries information on everyone who has ever existed and on everything that has ever happened. All knowledge; all events; all history of the cosmos. It is stored there, in the fabric of the Field. Many of us have heard of the Akashic records. They’re also known as the Universal Mind, the mind of God or Allah, and so forth; and in the Bible it’s called the Book of Life. And for those of you who believe in karma, well, if it exists, then this is where it is all recorded and how it happens.”
“Some people already even say that in reality the field of science sits inside consciousness, not outside. They say that universal consciousness, not matter, is the foundation of all existence – of everything that is. If this is true, then consciousness is the precursor to physicality.”
“It could well be argued that based on scientific findings the universe does seem to be conscious. Ergo, it is intelligent and purposeful.”
“If we are in the right frame of mind – and that means being more active in your right brain hemisphere than your left, incidentally – things like creativity, inspiration and intuition come to us from the Field – we learn how to interact with it and reap the rewards. Getting in the ‘zone’ – this is where the zone is.”
“It seems, therefore, that there are two levels of physical reality and not just one: there is the world we already know – the world we see around us, plus there’s the world that we cannot see – the world of the very tiny, quantum processes going on all around us. This is where intention is effective; this is where it all happens. And what about after we die? One well-regarded scientist has said that when we die we experience a ‘decoupling’ of our frequency or life force from the matter of our cells. He believes that we are then returned to the Field – the home of the spirit world; the home of everything.”
“Thoughts are things that affect other things. And that affect yourself. You can hurt yourself or someone else, or help someone. And not just someone, but many people. And not just people – animals, whole species, entire communities and regions. Once day we might even choose to go global with these abilities – these abilities to help.”
“It’s hard to be different from everyone else. It’s hard to be someone standing on the sidelines, telling a different story to what everyone else is saying. But we have to ask ourselves whether for the sake of us all that is what now must be done.”
“I wonder what the world would be like if the average person knew that there is an underlying order to everything – a governing intelligence. What would happen if they started to think that existence isn’t random and isolated and purely genetic; that we are not alone, and that we are all part of the most wonderful web of life and of exciting potentiality? What would happen? We can use this to heal ourselves, to heal others and to heal the planet. I personally think its time has come! It is desperately needed and we are ready for this! I would like you to go forth and help the world…NOW!”
“…limitless possibilities of the Zero-Point Field.”
“Is that what you want your life to be? You can make it different. Plan it. Create it. Be it. Think … about what your ideal life would feel like, and how happy it would make you. Try feeling that happiness, if you know what I mean. And then put the steps in motion to make it real. I’m sure it will happen for you if you keep that focus.”
“Now, the scientific stories that underpin our societies on this planet are based on the concept of separateness: the separation of mind from matter, the separation of the material world from the spiritual world. Also, the separation of science from spirituality, and I could give you many other examples, even things like the separation of art from daily life. What this means is that we think our reality comprises separate, finite, measurable parts. It’s what we were brought up to believe. We see ourselves as separate from one another, with an underlying philosophy of predictability, scientific certainty, fixed boundaries and so forth. After the Enlightenment, we shifted away from seeing ourselves within Nature to us standing apart from it. Now we see ourselves as superior to everything else on the planet, with the Earth being a place ‘outside’ us, with resources for us to do what we like with – consequently, we became detached ‘managers’ and exploiters of ‘resources’. We have had to have this human-centred belief in separateness for us to continue to believe in evil, in perfection, in good versus evil, and that for every winner there must be a loser. Eat or be eaten; I win, you lose. This aggressively independent way of thinking – which is currently our prevailing Western belief or paradigm – states that nothing non-local can exist. This means that under the existing separateness model there can be no such things as fields of connected energy at the quantum level, no such thing as the wave-particle uncertainty phenomenon, no such thing as the observer effect on a wave or particle, and certainly no such thing as psychic energy or any of that spooky stuff. A belief in separateness does not allow for an all-encompassing spirituality or the collective consciousness. Separateness, therefore, would infer that what frontier scientists have been proving in labs across the world for decades now involving various non-separate things cannot possibly happen. But it has. These things have happened. Fact. Empirical evidence. Hard science. Proper scientists doing proper experiments. So, what do we do? Where to from here?”
“…our quantum field of energy existing all around us holds us all together in an invisible web. It is a vast web of connection, with an information transfer constantly taking place between living things and their environment. The brain and DNA receive and transmit information from the Zero-Point Field. Scientists have evidence which suggests that consciousness is a substance external to our bodies. Consciousness is, of course, instrumental in shaping our world, and top scientists have demonstrated that thought forms are an aspect of transmitted energy. Thoughts are capable of profoundly affecting all aspects of our lives; with every thought we think and every judgement we hold we are affecting our world.”
“There can now be one unified vision of existence.”
“Do we have the right to kill for fun? To take a life and call it sport? Or to take a life and call it fine food?”
“Do we have the right to torture animals in laboratories? Or for so-called traditional medicine? Or breed cats and dogs for fur – and food? And what’s it with extracting bear bile from live bears? Or the slow death of harpooned whales? I’ll ask again: do animals also have the right to life?”
“I believe that the words ‘God’, ‘life’ and ‘love’ are interchangeable. I believe all three are one, and that this could even be called a new Holy Trinity.”
“God is love. And God is life. If God is life, then all life must be sacred. Yes? That means that all people, all animals and all living things are sacred.”
“…my ‘God’, ‘love’, ‘life’ notion. As a concept, it actually gets bigger the more you think about it.”
“…this world and the onion layers of the worlds within and beyond are as marvellous and as full of surprises as any that could be concocted through fiction.”
If you have read with interest this far... perhaps this means you should consider buying the book?! A bold and cheeky suggestion from John Hunt Publishing.
